While this site WAS originally a hub for ALL of my projects (Magic Job Comics)... it didn't work out so well. It was clear WCS was the only one I could manage! So yeah, WCS will be the complete main focus from now on.

Oh hey, it's Olivia. I hate when it's been a while since I've drawn a character, and I have to re-learn ENTIRELY how to draw them. I even forgot, AGAIN, Olivia has the two eyelashes instead of three like Avery in that first panel!! GRRRR!! At least I managed to get better in the last panel, but I simply got too lazy to redraw her again (also I had some other stuff to do, lol). My logic is that if I've already drawn it, and it's good enough, it gets a pass.

Just needed to rant a bit. Ranting is fun. Unfortunately that's all from me today! Hope you're enjoying the new story stuff :)

Edit: Speaking of Olivia, here are the two East Monster Anarchy guest strips by Drift that I had taken off a while ago. Was planning on doing some East Monster Anarchy section but forgot and these two strips were left evaporated. I'll probably get em back up somewhere, but here they are for now:

Here comes another year. A time to celebrate, but also time to get the cold! But anyways...

I want to thank you all for having supported me all this time. When I brought back WCS in April, I would have never guessed it would manage to keep on going this strong. My humor has gotten stronger, characters have been built a lot more... I'm just so proud of what's happened to the comic, and I would never want to stop now. From the people around me who have helped me grow to my friends who are just there, I'm so glad for all of you, even if you feel you haven't made much an impact. You are all just awesome.

Looking back on strips from just July even and seeing my art style get better so rapidly keeps me happy. I'm already really glad what this comic has brought in my life, and I can't wait to see where it will go from here.

May you be held, in warmth, in faith, in love, and may what you carry become lighter in the days ahead.

Phew... sorry for it being a while. Maybe 5 days isn't a very long time with no comic, however to me it feels like freakin' 2 weeks. But what matters is that I'm getting back on pace now! At this time of year it's only reasonable I would get prettyyy busy with some other stuff.

You know what time it is... That's right! Actually engaging in Christmas content! I have a strip planned for the 25th and will most likely do some special WCS themed art if I don't become a lazy slob.

I do also realize the amount of Christmas movies and specials I'm going to have to rewatch! The animation style in the 1964 Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special will always be so incredible to me.

My Macbook Pro has been facing issues that is making me convinced it's possibly on its last legs. For a bit now, the touch bar has been flashing so much whenever I wake it up from sleep mode, and when I try restarting it flashes even HARDER before disappearing once I'm back in again... Until, of course, I put it to sleep. I honestly have no idea what is happening here? I went on the startup options screen as I was restarting and for some reason once I went back it just completely disabled the lights on my keyboard AND touch bar. Well, hopefully I can get that figured out, cause making comics on Windows after more than a year of drawing on this laptop is gonna be a pain.

Bleh.

Basically, expect some changes to WCS.

As I mentioned in the last post, it ain't going to be anything like... super major. Basically WCS will just start taking a more "episode" focused approach from now on! But there'll still be the classic strips that don't really connect to anything every now and then. You'll see it once it all unfolds!

Anyway, yesterday I had the SpongeBob Whopper from Burger King. It was pretty good. The bun was like, completely yellow. The only time I've ever eaten at Burger King, and it's to get a SpongeBob meal.

So...! I'm gonna start trying something a bit different. Honestly I don't know how well this will work out but I'm gonna try and start making strips a lot more connected. Like an arc or whatever. This one started with 72. Just experimenting though.

This time, I ACTUALLY have nothing new to say. Wow. Though my A key is a little broken.

For the record, this is just filler. If you like Abuzz I'm sure you'll get a kick out of his terrible sense of humor! I don't. There will be a better comic on the 14th!

New comic, some more stuff with Olivia. Honestly was not too proud of this one. However a lot of people seem to like it so hey, more power to you.

I'd like to give a mention to VG Cats, which WCS has been linked to on! VG Cats was one of my biggest inspirations for even making a webcomic in the first place so I am really happy about seeing Ray and Avery on it. For those who didn't know, Strip #27 - "New Year, New Me" was originally a joke I had came up with for a scrapped VG Cats fan comic, which does actually explain the video game theming there. If you haven't played Ninjabread Man, you should, it's truly something.

Edit: 27.10.25 The WCS Halloween special is coming real soon! There'll be two strips up on the 30th and 31st, respectively. It'll be like, 10 panels all together!

Bout the time of year we start getting into holiday-related strips. Who else remembers Ray's chaisaw cookie for Christmas debacle? Feels insane knowing that strip is gonna be a whole year old in about 43 days from now... Honestly I never knew WCS would ever get 50 strips but frankly I'm extremely happy about how things are shaping up.

New comic!! Sorry for being gone for so long... there's also been 2 new comics in the time I haven't been posted. Lot of personal stuff got in the way and the schedule just went bleh. Honestly I probably should stop trying to stick to a schedule from now on. Another to add to my list of things I said I'm going to do but only did for a week and completely forgot about!

Bleh.... almost forgot entirely to put this one up. Well here it is. Just a quick, dumb one.

I've been playing a lot of Corn Kidz 64 recently. Very fun game that I highly recommended. The character designs and the overall art style are so awesome. I'm planning on getting a Steam Deck soon so I imagine I can have some fun with that.

Well, we did it. 50 strips. Halfway to 100! WOO!!

New comic!! This is one of those strips where, at first, I didn't like it all and thought it probably just wouldn't be very good. Well I was quite wrong. It's dumb, and I love dumb things, so it's perfect really.

I was thinking about how this fictional card game would work in real life, but judging by what we see Ray and Avery doing, I imagine it would not be very fun at all. Especially if someone can just decide they want to "perform" "Mayan Shadow Fighting", making their opponent lose everything in the process. That opponent can possibly be quick enough to fight back and summon a new card within 4 whole seconds, but it won't do much as Mayan Shadow Fighting's health is 3000 HP. That's the good ol scent of UNFAIRNESS.

I personally want the preantepenultimate barefoot eagle owl card.

Forgot to mention it's October now too. I have a Halloween strip planned for the 30th! Or maybe earlier, I dunno. Remember Homestar Runner doing the thing where each year all the characters are wearing costumes of pop culture references and whatnot? Gonna be like that. Here's Ray as Quote, from the game Cave Story. Along with Avery as Curly, though that one is not gonna be her costume in the comic. Just another fun little thing I felt like doing.

Also 12 Roses High is being cancelled... and instead being replaced with a game! Still featuring Ruby and the same plot! Honestly I have no idea when it'll come out but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. :)
